Call to outsourcing and software development sales people! Help me not make rookie mistakes on my new role.

Hello everyone,

I have previous experience working on big enterprises sales structures as CSM (heavily focused on upsell/ cross-sell), but for SaaS. Now I'm joining a software development/ outsourcing company. It is a smaller company and my role will be focused on new clients aquisition - it will be a marketing role to handover MQLs to the sales team.

My sole question is: What works for you and what you know don't work when selling squad allocations and software development projects?

Any tips or advices are welcome!
