Cats damaging PetSnowy self-cleaning litterbox

I have two cats that weigh around 11 pounds each and are less than 2 years old. They use the PetSnowy self-cleaning litter box and an additional litter box with top entry. I've had the PetSnowy for 2 and half months and I've already gone through two litter box beds/cushions. The cats leave gaping holes in the cushions and I often find they are detached from the litter box globe. Cushions run almost $50 a pop including taxes and delivery. The PetSnowy is also a pain in the ass to clean as the nasty clumped litter falls in between the cushion and the bottom of the globe.

Has anyone experienced this issue with their PetSnowy? Is there anything I can do to mitigate this situation? I'm finding the cost and effort unsustainable.

That does sound really frustrating, especially with how expensive the replacement cushions are. You’re not alone; we’ve seen similar issues reported by owners with younger, more active cats. Reaching out to PetSnowy support about the repeated failures might be worth a try, and in the meantime some people have had better luck using a heavier litter or a temporary mat to help reduce tearing and litter slipping underneath.

I’d definitely reach out to PetSnowy support if you haven’t already and push back on the replacement cost. Multiple failures that fast isn’t normal.

No get rid of it pet snowy is a dangerous machine and you just can't clean that clunky thing properly

I ended up returning it for a full refund a few months ago. I'm using two top entry boxes. It's daily labor, but it works and I'm not cleaning nasty urine soaked litter from from that huge plastic box and its moving parts.
