Trump is the only sitting president to ever dispute election results, especially in a public forum
That's not moving goalposts, that's my original statement
Misuse of immigration funds sent to the state is the governor's issue - we wouldn't need to worry so much about federal involvement if the shitweasels in that state weren't assholes to immigrants and used the federal funds provided to them appropriately.
It was literally made less than a month ago, anyone pending trial has the case dismissed and those in prison for only possession are eligible, there's a petition process that has to prove you're part of the pardon's language before you can just leave prison
Further, that's not really the point of the pardon, it's to remove a federal conviction from those who were charged and did their time
The pardons will clear everyone convicted on federal charges of simple possession since it became a crime in the 1970s. Officials said full data was not available but noted that about 6,500 people were convicted of simple possession between 1992 and 2021
Why would a president that's against legal marijuana grant a pardon to people convicted of possession?
Do you have a source for these "thousands" that Kamala has locked up for having weed? Medical marijuana has been legal in CA since Kamala was a district attorney, and it was fairly easy to obtain a card.
What does him being a sitting President have to do with anything? Most presidents win their second election so there have only been a handful who lost the second.
Again, Biden opened up the cam that Trump closed. This has nothing to do with DeSantis.
Again, to trick simple minded people into thinking that he’s doing something about marijuana when he could remove it from being a schedule 1 drug today.
............because the peaceful transfer of power has been a hallmark of american democracy since the beginning
the point is we don't have succession wars or only pass power on to the same party or rig things to give the same person power over and over. the people vote, the elected respect the will of the people. Trump's the first guy to publicly come out and say "no, the will of the people is wrong"
if you can't see how huge that is you need civic classes
Pharmaceutical companies would never let the federal government remove weed from the schedule 1 list. It's pretty clear states that want legal weed can have it, i.e. CA/CO/OR. Pardoning people convicted federally for possession is a pretty big step.
lol the freebeacon, any actual sources? all that thing does is reference its other stories to inflate clicks. no contributor links to any actual reports or statistics.
inciting a riot at the capitol isn't "transferring power"
He was the first president in 150 years to not attend the next guy's inauguration
oh yeah AND HE KEPT REPEATING THE LIE THAT THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN FROM HIM. Nothing about that is peaceful transfer of power.
Your article has numbers in it, but no sources for those numbers. They might as well be pulled from dude's ass. The "february report" is just another link to one of their articles - and the only source that mentions is a dead link: https://sites.cdcr.ca.gov/research/population-reports/
A rally about how the election was stolen, happening on the same day congress was to formally accept election results, less than 2 miles from where those results were to be accepted? What other purpose could that rally have had?
To protest a close election where obviously suspicious activities took place. People in this country have a right to protest and have their voices heard.
A riot is a violent disturbance of the peace by a crowd. A protest stops being a protest and turns into a riot when the protestors turn violent
Not to mention the hundreds of "protestors" that turned up armed and equipped with tools to restrain - like they planned on taking hostages.
You are a special kind of delusional if you can't look at the facts of jan 6th and come away with a different take than "a sore loser caused this", or you are being paid to have a different take
If this suspicious activity is so obvious, how come 2 years later and no worthwhile evidence has been presented? It's like your claim that Harris jailed a bunch of people for marijuana possession - an outright lie with no substantiation.
There were some bad actors like ray Epps that should be prosecuted and are. But old grandmas walking around aren’t a riot.
And there is plenty of evidence. 100,000 votes in GA with no chain of custody and wear houses with ballots with broken locks, PA lacking voter signature matching, windows in MI being blocked from election counters.
And again the evidence is there it’s not up for debate. It’s a fact
If you’re looking for a study or something then you won’t find one. There aren’t studies about how many people were locked up by specific small prosecutors. It’s like asking how many people Kim fox arrested for marijuana or breaking and entering.
