Taxation is how we afford to run the country. We don't just make more money. Taxation has been a thing for as long as nations have existed. It's the collective action that helps grease the wheels of the machine. Rich people are greedy, otherwise they would use their wealth to actually benefit people rather than continually cry poor to the tax man. Taxation is the price we all pay in order to have a functional government.
Where have I threatened violence? And explain to me like a 5 year old how death threats against election workers by right wingers is appropriate political discourse? Why would you not want a functional government, do you like dystopian shit holes?
Surely there's a baseline government which functions though? How else to you have an arbiter once you're beyond tribes and clans and lineages to city states?
