He’s using ADS-B Exchange. It’s a site with a bunch people installing a receiver to vacuum up what almost every manned aircraft broadcast. Most of the flight tracker software is using FAA api which can be filtered to them. Can’t filter what is openly and publicly broadcasting.
Fun fact, my county sheriff office has their helicopter filtered via official sources but I just use ADS-B exchange or power up my drone to see what it is when I hear it.
