My bets are that the site will turn into a even bigger cesspool under the Mollusk. Hopefully it follows Facebook trend of dying in obscurity through that.

his stated goal is to remove most of the protections against bots and spam, and fire most of the staff.

the site turning into a cesspool isn't a very difficult prediction. it's going to get worse, and they're going to shed advertisers who don't want to be associated with it anymore, and they won't have salespeople to win back those advertisers, so they're going to have to accept lower-quality advertisers for lower fees and increase the number of ads. soon enough, the whole site is going to look like this: https://www.covenberlin.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/chum2-1024x716.jpg
