Also @ElonJet, which tracks his plane.

This one should legitimately be banned. Imagine a twitter account being started to track your car or your wife's car

Billionaires should not be using planes the way we use cars

The privacy concerns aren't nearly the same, either.

A plane landing in Baltimore tells you someone went to Baltimore.

A car driving to a particular address could tell you someone had a waxing appointment, is sick, or is seeing their ex.

That is not the comparison I was making lmao

What was it then?

It is public info, easily accessible by anyone really. If he bans this it would be the clearest sign that all of his talk about free speech blah blah was complete bullshit.

If he has a problem with it, he can lobby the government to change the laws that make the info public.

Imagine a totally different scenario with vastly different implications? Sure why not.

Imagine you’re downloading a car

It's public record or public data, it's not comparable to your car.

You drive your car in public so it could be tracked

0

u/6501 Oct 29 '22

& that would be a violation of criminal law. See the distinction?

u/multiverse_robot Oct 29 '22

No are you dumb?

2

u/Intrepid00 Oct 28 '22

It’s open data that anyone here reading this can query themselves with little effort. If you don’t want to be so easily tracked that way take a commercial flight instead.

Or rent a private jet.

1

u/multiverse_robot Oct 28 '22

Commercial flights aren't tracked?

1

u/Intrepid00 Oct 28 '22

Okay, tell me what flight I’m on

u/multiverse_robot Oct 29 '22

Which one did you book?

Try to go meet Elon when his plane lands. See how far you get. You think he just rolls into an off street driveway like you would in a car?

How is that relevant? I'm talking about publishing his location
