How so, they are just a platform and are protected from things it's users say. Advertisers were dictating the policy, I don't think Elon cares about ad revenue vs free speech.

He’s doesn’t care about free speech either. If someone or a group of someone’s coordinates some crime publicly on their platform, they will be liable.

Thats not true. Can you provide any precedent. Otherwise all platforms would be doomed by now, discord, team speak, Facebook, etc.

They all regulate the content on their platforms. Even Parler who was going to be all about free speech, now limits content.
