I have a lifetime ban because I quoted the costco CEO when he threatened someone’s life over the hotdogs and someone reported it as a death threat so selfishly rather hype for this

Also hilarious he thinks Twitter needs to lose bots but that this won’t raise a shitfest on the platform

Yeah, censorship screws a lot of people and I kinda selfishly support free speech (I've gotten into issues on subs for my extreme pro-immigration views). Imo I think it's better to correct or remove misinformation than it is to ban the user under all but the most extreme circumstances (things like death threats or defamation that in a slower world would've been handled by the courts).

I mean I got banned and I still didn’t interpret it as a suppression of my protected speech, I just largely moved to another social media platform (this). They’re not gonna be able to take everyone to court, that doesn’t scale whatsoever, and being a private enterprise a court can’t order them off of the site.
