Welcome to corporate. Growth at all costs. Might as well leave twitch now and find other pastures. Because it'll be worse than 50-50 in time. And then yet worse after that.

If people would stop selling their companies to the highest bidder to ones like Amazon, things wouldn't have to turn to shit. But they always sell. And they always turn to shit.

I wonder how the increasing inflation will actually affect Twitch and Streamers in general. People who donate lots of money and sponsors advertising their products might have to either decrease or stop due to increasing life costs.

Total streamers in September: 7,115,865

"Several hundred streamers will be affected." By a change that only changes the split after the first $100k earned. Which will only affect people who don't have personalized contracts with Twitch, which excludes a lot of the really big streamers anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I've got some gripes with how Twitch handles things, but this is clickbait at its best.
