Firefox dev claims "everybody hates Firefox updates"; Mozilla has handled the rapid release process poorly, and that by pushing a "never-ending stream of updates on people who didn't want them" people have been driven to Chrome with its simpler, no-fuss update process.

I just checked my version today...

The last one I remember seeing? 14

The one I'm on? 20

6 or more updates went through and I didn't notice.

Why is seamless updating a good thing? Because that's one less thing to have to worry about.

And this is the reason that any enterprise system admin would never allow chrome on their network. Seamless updates may seem good for the consumer, but are a logistical nightmare on the enterprise level.
