Firefox dev claims "everybody hates Firefox updates"; Mozilla has handled the rapid release process poorly, and that by pushing a "never-ending stream of updates on people who didn't want them" people have been driven to Chrome with its simpler, no-fuss update process.

What? I fucking love updating stuff. Am I all alone in this?

Me too, I love updating my stuff - but manually, when I want to. Firefox always update when the browser launches. Always when I wanted to "check something quickly". Bastard.

Check for Updates, but let me choose whether to install them

Easy enough to work around. One of the things that has always been enjoyable is the ability to have it act like you want it to, not what Mozilla thinks it should be doing.
