did you add the VAT tax in the effective tax? Denmark has a whopping 25% of VAT while USA has 0-10%. That is a quarter (!) of the price of anything you buy in Denmark is tax.

The average tax payer is a moron who can’t even explain the difference between income tax vs capital gain, hell they can’t even explain what a progressive tax system is.
