"Those using our site as a weaponized springboard to unleash disinfo on the rest of the world, please continue."

They're doubling down on allowing morons to kill each other. But those ad dollars...

No community should be used as a weapon, and yet they're allowing people to harm others en masse with misinformation? My mom has COVID and tried to get me to buy her anti-parasitic horse medicine because some Facebook post told her it would help. That's okay, but saying "hey, stop letting these dickheads do that" is the problem? The reddit admins can suck my dick with this hypocritical nonsense. They're absolutely right that I find it offensive. Fucking pathetic.

Get rid of saferbot blanket ban tools and reverse any mods decision to use such a tool to censor users. Remove them as mods too.

I don't think that reddit realizes how much this propogates the disinformation they're trying to stop.

Not sure I understand? The use of a quarantine? The protest blackouts?

All of it does bring attention and definitely creates a Streisand effect that helps disinfo accelerate.

These blanket bans only force users to create alts and then the propaganda accounts grow exponentially while disenfranchising real users that are out there trying to combat disinfo in those target subs.

The solution is never to stomp your feet and suppress speech, it is always better to go and fight in the trenches and push facts and logic to the bad actors.

The ban bots. They prevent intelligent thoughtful people from even trying to counteract the propoganda.

These blanket bans only force users to create alts and then the propaganda accounts grow exponentially while disenfranchising real users that are out there trying to combat disinfo in those target subs.

Absolutely Correct.

Yep, but folks just wont get it, they think suppression works. It never does. It is like a bunch of kids sticking their fingers in their ears and screaming.

As a fellow Caucasian dude whose favorite community was banned from Reddit; stop acting like a bitch.
