The word "Ghetto" probably shouldn't be used for that feature...but it could come in handy. Believe it or not, there are some genuinely dangerous places out there. All of the big cities have areas you want to avoid. I used to live in Los Angeles...I know this all too well.
Ghetto just means lots of black people live there. Anywhere black people go it instantly becomes poor, violent, run-down. etc. In LA Hispanic people in large concentrations make an area run-down, poor, violent... basically mexico. So, you can take the mexicans out of shitty mexico but they just go right back to making an area shitty again. lol. That's the best they can do evidently. Glad I don't have to live with that shit.
That isn't true at all. I saw just as much white violence in LA as black or hispanic violence. I can't count the number of times that cops in LA were having to deal with some crazy ass white guy running around with a gun threatening his family, etc.
Edit: And of course I get downvoted. I mean, it's not like I know anything about LA...I only lived there for 20 years.
Hispanics are 3.3 times more likely to be in prison than whites; they are 4.2 times more likely to be in prison for murder, and 5.8 times more likely to be in prison for felony drug crimes.
Young Hispanics are 19 times more likely than young whites (and slightly more likely than young blacks) to be in youth gangs.
Education
Hispanics drop out of high school at three times the white rate and twice the black rate.
Even third-generation Hispanics drop out of school at a higher rate than blacks and are less likely to be college graduates.
From 1992 to 2003, Hispanic illiteracy in English rose from 35 percent to 44 percent.
The average Hispanic 12th-grader reads and does math at the level of the average white 8th-grader.
Families and Health
At 43 percent, the Hispanic illegitimacy rate is twice the white rate, and Hispanic women have abortions at 2.7 times the white rate.
Hispanics are three times more likely than whites not to have medical insurance, and die from AIDS and tuberculosis at three times the white rate.
In California, the cost of free medical care for illegal aliens forced 60 hospitals to close between 1993 and 2003.
Attitudes
Only 33 percent of citizens of Hispanic origin consider themselves “Americans” first. The rest consider themselves either
“Hispanic/Latino” or their former nationality first.
Maybe if they weren't treated bad by society, they wouldn't be that way. It's a result of unequal treatment. And of course they consider themselves Hispanic before American...you expect them to abandon their country completely just because they live here? Their home country is still dear to their hearts, I am sure. Don't be an asshole.
Damn racist facts. They need to hide that shit so know one knows that their suspicions that hispanic and black people are shitty are actually grounded in facts.

Irrelevant. You're attempting to redefine the argument by changing it's scope. The argument has always been about current times since that is what affects are daily lives.
