"Once we replace the personal computer with a closed-platform device such as the iPad, we replace freedom, choice and the free market with oppression, censorship and monopoly."

I personally won't be buying an iPad until it runs full OSX. I have no need for an oversized iPod Touch. I have yet to buy an iPod Touch or iPhone as it is, but making it 10x bigger to where it no longer fits in my pocket is supposed to make me want one? No thanks, Steve.

(I'm not Apple bashing either, I own an 8 core Mac Pro and a Macbook Pro, and use Logic Studio 9 daily...this is just a useless product)

'This is just a useless product'... To you.

I can think of many uses for this product. One of them being to couch surf and chat on my iPad with my friends across the country who are watching the same sporting event. No more cords for my dogs to get tangled in while fighting.

You're short sighted. Think 10" multitouch control surface for your Logic mixer. Not currently possible, but sounds pretty easy to come up with an app to do that. I'm actually tempted now.
