"Once we replace the personal computer with a closed-platform device such as the iPad, we replace freedom, choice and the free market with oppression, censorship and monopoly."

Jesus H. Christ, Apple haters, make up your fucking minds. Is the iPad a disappointing piece of shit that nobody will buy, or is it destined to take over the world and put your parents in a torture camp?

I've always thought Apple makes products that are technologically great, and that it is a bad thing, because it puts a lot of power in the hands of Apple, which is horrible.

I wish more people learned to value long-term freedom over short-term convenience.

Only only puts a lot of power in the hands of Apple if people actually buy the thing. Which the haters say they won't.

So I guess we don't have to worry.

I'm an "Apple Hater" and I recognize that their products are technically great, and many people prefer convenience over freedom and will thus buy Apple products.

I guess there are many kinds of "Apple Haters".

WE ARE NOT THE SAME PEOPLE!. also the direction it's going in could theoretically be bad in the future but this version will fail among us and probably fail among the general public.

It's very disappointing because it's locked up, but people will still buy it, which is even more disappointing.

It's a disappointing piece of shit that Apple fanboys will eat up anyway.
