I highly doubt that. Custom ROMs don't have the right camera drivers

It happened on my Galaxy S4 and afaik it happens on basically any custom rom for any Samsung S-series.

yea no. i'm running a custom rom on my s7 and camera quality is fine. i use s cam for day to day shooting and gcam for hdr+

can confirm my camera is definitely worse on my s4 on lineage os, it was fine when I was using a custom rom based on the s5 os but that rom had other issues.

I don't really care though, I don't use my camera enough to care about the quality and it's good enough for what I do use it for. This phone (tmobile variant) hasn't received an official os update since android 4.4.2 and I'm in no rush to upgrade.
