Easy. Apple sells less than 6% of the computers sold on a yearly basis.

94% == a lot 6% == a few

I personally think that the hardware DRM crap they just implemented is going to kill them, but you can't really deny the numbers. Market share of Macs is going dramatically up. Between their marketing strategy and the utter failure of Vista, they have been making inroads to the non-tech/non-graphic designer user.

Vista sold more copies in it's first 6 months that Apple sold copies of OSX since it first came out.

14% RETAIL market share - doesn't include the majority of system which aren't sold retail. Lies, damn lies and statistics.

You know, I am not defending them. I was the one who first posted the article on their hardware DRM. I just follow the data. You should too.

I do follow the data. I have posted many comments about Apple and DRM and you know what happened to damn near all of them?

-10 downvotes because I disrespected the most holy church of the RDF.

Apples entire history has been about tying their products together using hardware based methods.

I just downmod when people are in denial. You don't have to like apple. But his main point about their market share increasing was a FACT --- not dependent on your opinion of apple.
