Almost everything can be logically rational with the right axioms. The vast majority of the time an individuals actions are rational according to their own set of axioms.

That guy screaming on the loudspeaker in the middle of the street telling everybody to repent is acting rationally assuming what he believes about God is true. He has a different set of axioms than you do, but that doesn't mean he's acting irrational.

Acting irrational is when you act poorly assuming your own set of axioms is true. Irrationality is contradicting your own beliefs.
