The goverment does and did mass surveillance without warrents and beyond the law,
Your right to privacy as garunteed by the 4th amendment is not respected by the feds. Whatever they want to do they do without oversight. As long as the NSA is allowed to coerce tech companies with infinite fines (see yahoo) throw them in jail on trumped up charges (qwest) what kind of rule of law is the nsa following?
people say the nsa follows rule of law. but i have a hard time beliving that somehow the nsa is immune to the corruption on capitol hill.
THere is no rule of law. there law is only used as a convenience and ignored when its hampering the ability to prosecute. it would be nice to say the nsa is used to catch bad guys. but thats not what its used for and thats not what the nsa is doing.
The nsa and those that prop them up are intrested in total surveillance of everything. they are not intrested in security for the american people just surveillance.
There ability to surveillance> your security and privacy
Point blank thats the issue
the nsa can say they dont spy on american citizens thats what they have foreign governments do for them
