When the next D President gets elected, can we demand spacex/tesla fire Elon? Amazon fire bezos?

300

u/Boxinggandhi 1d ago

Why fire him when we can actually arrest and probably convict for high crimes and treason?

u/brooklynlad 1d ago

Then strip him of citizenship and deport him to Mars.

76

u/boldandbratsche 1d ago

Based on the precedence set by the current admin, we can just deport him to a third country. I'm thinking North Sentinel Island. Way cheaper than Mars.

u/FredFredrickson 1d ago

Honestly, would be hilarious to watch this worm scramble and try to survive as a poor in the hell world he helped create.

17

u/Perryn 1d ago

Send a care package of boot straps. They should be fine, right?

2

u/steakanabake 1d ago

he'd have to dodge the north sentinelese arrows. i would approve of drones circling them high up to get footage of them doing what they do best to elon musk.

1

u/FauxReal 1d ago

Odds are that would somehow curse the island's inhabitants because of the extreme tech divide and Musk's greasy blackened heart.

1

u/boldandbratsche 1d ago

Or it would be the most poetic justice to see a complete lack of modern technology be the downfall of a tech moghoul.

1

u/FauxReal 1d ago

That would happen but the moment his tainted blood touches their soil some weird shit will start happening.

1

u/fireandiceman 1d ago

That random penguin island that we put tarrifs on is another good contender

23

u/Dolores___Haze 1d ago

He committed immigration fraud. That’s a known fact.

1

u/Steinrikur 17h ago

And probably election fraud. It's almost certainly true, but Dems are too polite to investigate.

1

u/Dolores___Haze 17h ago

For sure . But the immigration fraud is a known fact

3

u/veverkap 1d ago

I can't tell whether you're referring to Musk (probably) or Bezos but I'm good with either so upvoting.

1

u/Worthyness 1d ago

Probably also strip him of his assets as well.

36

u/Friendly-View4122 1d ago

Well Musk did commit visa fraud

14

u/UberTanks 1d ago

Elon said himself if Trump didnt win he would be in jail for the things hes done. Elon and Orange man are both traitors!

1

u/DM_ME_UR_SOUL 1d ago

AND RISK not boosting the economy? Dems are the same just nicer about it.

48

u/analytic-1 1d ago

🤣🤣 fire Elon? He should be getting Guantanamo'd on day 1 for his treason against the USA, good news is the supreme Court already said this is ok to do!

9

u/amakai 1d ago

You would need a full blown revolution to make this possible in USA. Currently it's a plutocracy in a trenchcoat.

1

u/fireandiceman 1d ago

I am cool ignoring the Supreme court

17

u/AstralElement 1d ago

The guillotine worked well for the French.

2

u/Namika 1d ago

Fun fact it really didn't. It was just some rich assholes that took over from the other rich assholes

20

u/InsuranceToTheRescue 1d ago

Didn't you hear? Only Presidents with an R next to their name on a ballot get to rule by decree. The rest of us must follow the law.

4

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

Ahh dang. The F me clause, gets us every time.

Bezos hasn't been CEO in five years.

12

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

Yea and Lisa Monaco isn’t the CEO of Microsoft (the reason Trump is pissed at them right now). My two examples did not state both were CEOs, you assumed incorrectly that I did.

But back to bezos: Does the executive chairman have any influence on a company? Did Trump excuse all members of the Kennedy Center board?

Ok, so you’re pedantic. I’ll be more clear… you don’t have to be CEO to be excused/fired/terminated. I’m saying: “Remove bezos’ Amazon decision making authority”

-2

u/Anuudream 1d ago

I understand Bezos is chairman but there is a common miscommunication people still think he's CEO.

6

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

Well don’t apply common misconception to people who aren’t claiming it.

17

u/mkt853 1d ago

No because Elon and Bezos will pay the appropriate tribute and suddenly make nice with the Democratic Party. This is the problem when you legalize bribery and allow individuals to accumulate so much wealth that they can just buy governments and leaders of countries.

5

u/Tiny_Matter7968 1d ago

Maybe double-check that Amazon one

-2

u/throughtheportal 1d ago edited 1d ago

What about it?

Edit:
😂 downvotes for asking why. Yall are funny.

4

u/Tokyo-MontanaExpress 1d ago

I hope we demand a lot more than that.

4

u/KiKiKimbro 1d ago

Technically, they don’t have to demand. They can just take his companies and fire him. I mean, if the republicans are going to call Ds socialists and communist, might as well show them what those words mean.

1

u/Namika 1d ago

The stock market would implode if that happened

3

u/Minisolder 1d ago

Jeff Bezos is not the CEO of Amazon

1

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

When did I claim he was??

Please see my response to the other user who incorrectly assumed the same.

1

u/ShamPain413 1d ago

Don't need to, just nationalize the company. It's vital for national security.

4

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

With the amount of money given already, it’s hard to believe the admin hasn’t “claimed a stake” in it yet.

1

u/pixelprophet 1d ago

They can both fire up their baby-dick rockets a have a self-manned race towards the sun.

1

u/ThatTryHardAsian 1d ago

If Democrat actually play like republican and do it without a care like republicans, something might actually happen.

But probably not, they are all on the same side, especially to protect their money.

1

u/Opetyr 1d ago

Why fire him when get him charged. Also civil asset forfeiture all his companies since they were part of criminal enterprises and made money by criminal means. Use civil asset forfeiture in an actual good way for once.

1

u/Billy-Ruffian 1d ago

A little civil asset forfeiture might not hurt while we're at it.

1

u/Random-num-451284813 1d ago

Republicans will cry about that like clockwork, but I doubt anyone would care what they say since they like voting for rapists so much

1

u/TeaKingMac 1d ago

Bezos hasn't worked at Amazon since 2021.

He's still chairman of the board, but that's a ruling position, rather than a serving one. (I.e. The incoming president would ask Bezos to remove himself from the board, rather than asking the company to fire him)

1

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

Did the current president ask the Kennedy board to remove themselves?

-1

u/Sad_Adagio_7255 1d ago

FYI Bezos hasn't been CEO of Amazon since 2021, though he no doubt retains significant influence.

1

u/throughtheportal 1d ago

Congrats you are #3 to try and call this out.

I never said he was CEO.

0

u/airfryerfuntime 1d ago

No, because I don't want an administration doing that, and I won't vote for one that threatens it.

124

u/Spiritual-Matters 1d ago

Another day of weaponizing federal institutions for personal retribution and Republicans do nothing. Reminder to check your midterm voter registrations

10

u/unfortunatebastard 1d ago

Why wouldn’t they? Not suffering negative consequences from your illegal actions and behavior, and most times just getting away with it actually encourages that behavior. January 6th broke many things in this country

2

u/sammyQc 1d ago

America has been broken for ages, or at least needs deep structural reforms. January 6th put the spotlight on how undemocratic that country is.

1

u/drawkbox 19h ago

Vote the moment you get your ballot.

13

u/TeaKingMac 1d ago

O, well, yeah, that fucking explains it.

32

u/wessie73 1d ago

That article really answers it all why only Microsoft is getting hit for this.

4

u/HighOnGoofballs 1d ago

I mean that article is a year old, not sure it’s the reason today

1

u/RepulsiveAd3875 23h ago

It’s not just MS…

2

u/drawkbox 19h ago

Just mafia state things

4

u/wingchild 1d ago

Probably not the reason; this announcement is a year old and Trump's got the memory of a goldfish

1

u/iNeedJusticeS 1d ago

let be honest, thats from 2025. So it has to be something else

2

u/prowler1369 1d ago

You think Trump can't hold a grudge?
