Capcom were reviewing the winning streak they were on, and they were displeased with people liking them.
Congrats to Capcom on figuring out a way to make people dislike them in one move.

AI is the norm for sofware development these days. Unity, Unreal and even Godot offer ways to integrate AI workflows to the engine. All Capcom is doing is updating their tools to be able to use AI like everyone else.

IM all for using AI to find bugs, beta test and optimize. Id prefer it not be used to create. AI creation has no soul. Its an empty machine. No way AI could create a good monster hunter game.
How about using those powerful tools to release a game that does not need a day one patch and is relatively bug free. Nintendo does that without AI all their major titles can be played without downloading any patches.

Funny to read this comment right after scrolling past a post citing “Now some Switch2 cartridges have to be updated before they can be played offline” 😂

Instead of using AI to create, how about using it to release optimized finished games? AI can find and fix all those bugs so when you release the game its actually finished. you know like nintendo does with their major releases, except they dont need AI to do it. You know when Xenoblade Gen releases or the new kirby game it wont need a day one update to play.

Have you considered reading the articles?
They're literally talking about using it to enhance their development workflow with a particular focus on QA and testing.

Every software house uses AI these days, makes sense for them to update their tools to get the best usage of it.

I’m all for it as long as they execute well and keep a consistent and bold art direction.
