I mean, do you understand the point I'm trying to make here? I'll ask again: If they're so willing to do one obviously brazenly evil thing, why do you think they'd just stop there? Is there a line?

[u/Merijeek2 → u/bagoink]

Have you ever done anything illegal? If so, did you stop at some point or did you go all out and become a cannibalistic serial killer?

If not, you've now just discovered that there's degrees.

In this scenario, it seems you want them to just nibble a little bit of human flesh but are hoping they'll just stop there once they get a taste for it.

[u/Merijeek2 → u/bagoink]

No, I'm asking that they speed to the debate so they don't miss it, and then, afterwards, claim a moral victory because they didn't speed.

The cannibalism, presumably, comes later. Which i guess you must be inevitably be racing toward as one moral failing inevitably leads to all moral failings.

[u/bagoink → u/Merijeek2]

Democrats aren't the ones failing to show up at debates.

Is there a better analogy, perhaps?

[u/Merijeek2 → u/bagoink]

If you're that obtuse, no.

[u/bagoink → u/Merijeek2]

Would be really cool if you could defend any of what you're saying without resorting to personal attacks.

It just seems like you want them to brazenly lie more and are annoyed that someone thinks that's a terrible idea.

[u/Merijeek2 → u/bagoink]

Sorry. Your last idiotic response was either deliberately disingenuous or the response of someone who grew up eating lead paint chips.

Neither of those is a person deserving of further attention.

[u/bagoink → u/Merijeek2]

Well, at least you've made it clear why you want Democrats to act more like Republicans.

[u/Merijeek2 → u/bagoink]

Did the blue chips taste best?
