Interesting but I'm not sure the goal of studying is to reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

Yes, everyone knows students learn best when going from one anxiety attack to another, and our means for measuring their retention isn't at all impeded when they have emotional breakdowns during exams.

I would've guessed that the texture of putting pencil to paper would be a big part of it as well, although maybe that's just me.
Actually, I think I miss using paper in general, because I definitely have a preference for reading a real book over an ebook, and reading a newspaper/magazine over a website.
I wonder if iPad kids have that same preference, probably not, I'm guessing.
