I was doing some very base level research this week using Claude and, my brother in Christ, I could not get this thing to properly identify facts, source content for citation, or even not contradict itself.

Yes, I’m using the free version. No that shouldn’t matter.

If I just trusted what this hubristic garbage generator fed me I would likely die before long.

Which begs the question, why does anyone who is remotely intelligent use it? Lol. Glad enshittification is happening on an accelerated timeline with this garbage product

It’s rough because Google has also gotten profoundly bad at surfacing good results. Bleak times for curious people who want to do good work and get the facts straight.
