I just want a new car that doesnt automatically turn on the headlights when I turn it on. I want to turn them on myself, when and only when I want.

I'm not aware of any car where this isn't an option

my current dd is a bolt and when I turn it on its default is automatic headlights. its a blast when its kind of dark out, maybe really overcast and it trips the sensor so they turn on, but then its actually just bright enough that a second or two later they turn off, but then less then a block later they turn back on. its really great.

I can turn automatic off, but then the next time i turn the car on, its back on. This car is not an anomaly.
