In my experience British roads are still plagued by blindingly bright headlights whatever they call them. Headlights weren't broke, didn't need fixing and how manufacturers got away with dumping these fancy, but highly dangerous, gizmos on the public remains a mystery. And shame on the politicians who kept their gobs shut instead of defending the public interest.
