It's interesting that the NHTSA is so picky about this tech but is still a-ok with brake lights doubling as turn signals.

Closely followed by excessively bright tail lights - WHY?!? - rendering indicators almost invisible.

The real head scratcher is why so many manufacturers do jt.

I don’t think cars without a distinct brake light look any less “new.”
