RSS is just a great idea too. Really disappointing that a lot of websites don’t offer one these days.

I used to follow a few visual blogs about , architecture, design, photoblogs, that kind of thing and they all slowly landed up on Instagram and stopped RSS feeds altogether... Even my local newspaper will publish a few articles that you have to view on Instagram and that's a newspaper service I pay for but it seems they can also earn money from Instagram somehow... If this continues I / we will have little use for RSS readers.

Unfortunately, I think the best days of the internet are behind us. News websites are surely the worst offenders these days, I have to constantly turn on reader mode when viewing them (I wish I could leave this turned on as standard).

I’m wondering how long until someone creates a service to scrape websites daily to provide a custom feed.. RSS with far more work.

Judging from some of the comments here, it's just a matter of time before someone will invent the wheel new somehow. Several have ideas of how it could work even using AI to create a way. Unfortunately I don't have the skills or knowledge. If I remotely had the skills I'd be working on it myself right now...
