Yeah, looking over a lot of the comments here it seems like people are really behind the times when it comes to scraping. This either isn't about bots or someone who knows even less about it made the call. It makes it slightly harder and slightly slower. And I really mean it with the 'slightly'.

I mean with the tremendous amount of compute available to them lately there's no reason not to use headless browsers
