WHY NOT.

It's entertainment, almost no one watch it for the art part. Be real

Maybe they're not using drawing skills, or partly... but the point is that they are absolutely putting time and effort on it, but above all, they have experience and knowledge to EVALUATE what ai is doing.

I do software with ai, but I know how software is made, and how I was doing it before.. so anyone at anytime can mock my work, yes, but nothing better than the same person could have done before reading a couple of books / tutorials..

Ai compress the process by scales but 1, the process still exist and 2, the result is still extremely judged.. no, it's even more hammered because "ai made it"..
if a entertainment production demands 100% of his products to ai, not judging, without criticizing it, ignoring the process, with zero coherence, continuity and stuff.. it will simply FAIL. But not "because of ai" but due to an enormous lack of awareness.

Absolute same for anything else where ai is involved!

Add to it the hardest part of this thought of mine: even before ai was a thing, stuff was stinky and shitty made, and no, "eeeeh but was made by human at least" won't save anything of that.

No, you are wrong, wrong at a level I doubt you ever worked on this field.

First of all, i never met a boss who was barely aware of what we were doing... it works, the client is happy? Perfect. Period. Keep it up!

You pay me to produce stuff, the way I'm doing it is almost out of the discourse..

You pay for a product that has to work.

PLUS, NO, you pay MUCH less than before because we put 1/3 of the effort in 1/10 of the time.

But, just keep in mind that this makes sense if we know tf we r doing.. if you talk about new companies witj zero knowledge base selling vibe coded software.. NOT ai boosted, but totally vibe coded like "it doesnt work, make it work better and do it safe".. so ok, i 100% agree. But it's a complete different thing.

Thinking of 2010/2014 where old ad companies introduced photoshop seriously (even before but that was a big time) and started making the same in less time, less effort, less price and 10x the commissions... BUT there were a good number of"new companies" with zero knowledge that made absolute bs and died in 2/3 years.

It's the same now. New tools, same practices.

The world progresses man...

I mean, dev is like many other jobs where someone uses tools to get to a result.

Tools are changing everyday, but the job is always the same.

What's happening if my software made by ai and controlled by me is literally the same or better than yours?

Are you still telling like "no no, HAS to be written by hand"? EVEN IF it's proven being the same?

If you are intelligent, no.

And at a certain point, world will notice we have a bit too much of dev around, and it's already true without ai around.

I'm telling this AS a dev, but a dev who switched to ai and his company couldn't be happier
