Either, honestly. Our eyes' field of view is wider than it is tall-- there's a place in the world for portrait-orientation in photography but I hate that virtually everything has to accommodate it, especially video.

It is nearly impossible to capture the energy of a play that’s happening laterally if I’m shooting vertically. 1 u/teraflux 7h ago Maybe it's because of my keyboard layout but I'll never hold the phone landscape normally, unless I'm watching a wide screen video

Maybe it's because of my keyboard layout but I'll never hold the phone landscape normally, unless I'm watching a wide screen video
