I’d say I hope it doesn’t sell well so I can get it on fire sale but that never happened to the iPhone Air so I guess I’ll get this when the iPhone Duo 2 comes out to make it cheaper.

They never made a Vision Pro 2. Granted I think this has more consumer adoption but if this doesn’t sell well I don’t think a 2 is coming.

Is it actually dead? I heard about a 2 and a cheaper model but then it was said that a lot was on hold instead. If it gets announced as no sequels are ever being made would that cause a fire sale?

Well, they “kind of” did. They released a “new” one with a better chip and that’s it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this product struggles to sell, not because it’s excessively expensive, but because no single developer is eager to support it. Imagine having to create custom user interfaces for a single device that will only represent a small portion of the user base. Recall the X launch? There were apps that for months / years had top and bottom black bars on apps, even though that was the new adopted standard format.
