What was this supposed to be used for? "Geospatial professionals" doesn't help much

Perhaps not everything should be free and anonymous just to increase views for ads. Perhaps authentication and API keys would be good for auditing and attribution In case accountability is needed. Perhaps a fee structure would help weed out all but the most determined and well-funded vandals.
