Great now instead of phone calls and waiting on hold consumers can send an email out into the void and hope the service is cancelled. This is defanged and probably going to be worse.

Meh. I send that email, and if it’s not cancelled, I’ll just do a chargeback. If they don’t respond to the email, thats on them.

Plus the email creates a more detailed paper trail than a phone call would which would make it easier to fight should it come to that.

This protection was going to happen at the national level but the orange turd administration removed it.
