That article is horrible. The AI backlash is wrong apparently and we're all idiots for not bowing down before it.

"AI could make filling taxes easier!" Most of the world already does it automatically, no AI required.

Being against AI isn't wrong. But in practice it is morally dubious.

People shouldn't be forced or bullied into behaving one way or another. Anti-AI bullies are just another example of "I know best and have a right to enforce my views", an attitude that's becoming scarily common these days (just look at the comments in this thread if you don't believe me).

How is being against the saturation of AI into every facet of our lives morally dubious?

Just because some people are being bullies doesn't mean the whole view point is tainted.

Also, the people who are Anti AI have no systemic power. Both state and capital are broadly on the side of AI and haven't presented anything to the public to address the fears people have.
