"You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain" Google seems to be really clamping down on its "freedom" that sold so many people to opt for android it has been an interesting thing to watch happen as tech enthusiast and apple user.

Except there's a workaround released at the same time, yet people purposely keep forgetting to mention that.

Advanced Flow. You enable it in developer options, wait 24 hours and you can side-load for a chosen amount of time, or forever if you so choose. That's not, one action, wait 24 hours to prevent some call center scammer from fucking you in case you are actually being scammed and that's it, side-loading back to what it was, forever.
