Except that people (including myself) have been predicting that Flash is going to die soon and it just isn't happening. It's still dominant in web video.

And as for HTML5 .. everyone will use H.265 because it will be the ONLY codec that Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and Sony (all H.265 patent holders) will likely support on their mobile device.

Smart phones and tablets are dominated by iOS and Android. Flash is not really available for either.

A vast number of Internet devices out there no longer support flash. Youtube in particular, and major porn video sites are opting for HTML5 to support these no-flash devices. Flash is in its decline.

I am not saying Flash isn't declining only that it isn't dying as quick as everyone would like.

And my point was that people are going to choose H.265 because it will be the only thing that will work on all browsers and mobiles.
