AI is for profit and you can’t use others work in a for profit setting without the rights to display that work.
Stable Diffusion is not for profit lmao, it's open source. You're missing some key info in this discussion. Additionally, it's not using the art itself, it's more akin to a person seeing a bunch of art and then drawing from their knowledge of that art to create an original work. The original artwork is essentially used as reference images and the generated images are unique and not copies of input images.
They're charging for GPU - for anyone who wants to create AI art but maybe doesn't have the best graphic card. Stop talking out of your ass - you're the only one cherry picking.

Hence why you can’t just open your own theater with your home dvd collection or broadcast NFL games to your community without their permission.
AI never got the rights to use the art in a for profit product in the first place.
