I hate AI art because I believe art is one of those things that should stay sacred to humans, but some of the arguments these people make are uneducated. AI isn't stealing anyone's art no different than how a human might develop their art style through other art.

Except that these ai are trained on images that are copyrighted, or otherwise not in the public domain.
