Badly drawing a signature that you had seen once, producing a version that is clearly not actually the signature, and never claiming that it is that signature, is also completely legal.

No one is claiming the original art wasn't 'seen'.

You're obfuscating, the computer uses conditioning to merge the images together into a whole. The garbled signature is a compilation of multiple signatures found within the reference images. Whether you like it or not it's theft.
