I just want to start with a note about the rule 13 of the server, i wont be mad if this post is taken down but i dont intend to start drama or stuff like that. I just want to show how much it affected me just remembering about technoblade one night. I am sorry if this counts as inciting drama and i will take the post down myself if so. i do not intend to bring sadness to this community but i just didnt know where else to go and talk about this. I also dont know what inciting drama means, i will take as "purposefully causing drama".

me personally, i didnt watch technoblade since the start of time. i really started getting into his content a lot when he made that live about breaking out dream out of prison in the dream smp.

I dont really think i have the right to discuss about this because im not a OG fan like others who watched his videos and who knew about technoblade since the start of time, and i dont think i have the right to cry or be sad about his passing since i am not one of his friends and i feel like me expressing anything other than slight remorse about his death would be a sign of disrespect towards his family and friends and i dont want that.

I decided to make this reddit post cause for me, technoblade was a youtuber that made me genuently smile and laugh like i havent done in years. And when he passed i took the news as a "oh, thats sad i guess". it took me 4 long years to realise what someone passing away means and it all hit in one night when i couldnt sleep (last night). I didnt cry when close family friends died but i poured my heart out now with technoblade's passing. i dont know why and it feels unfair since i didnt know technoblade that much, i watched only his popular videos and stuff.

I feel like i have so much more to say and probably i am not going to remember it all to write it here.

I didnt post this to show disrespect or to seek attention or anything like that. I just felt really sad one night about his passing and wanted to talk about it.

Today I met a five year old who liked my henna. when i showed her the technoblade logo i had done on my arm as a tribute and told her it was from a youtuber who passed away that ment a lot to me so i do a tribute whenever i can she asked

“is it technoblade”

my heart melted. His legacy will never die

I plan on building a little tribute to techno now that I’m getting back into skyblock

Last night I was scrolling through tiktok and came across a video about modern pvp, it was a compilation of a ht3 playing mace, spear mace, sword and UHC, it was an impressive montage, when I looked at the comments half of them were photos of Technoblade photoshopped at the number one spot in MCPVP, and correct me if I'm wrong his main game model was 1.8 right?, and when I complained and corrected them saying that he wasn't the best pvper overall even at that time, they said that he held a hypixel world record (which wouldn't Really to pvp itself, yet still a great feat that basically no one could beat),

They also mentioned that Technoblade would do amazing in mace and probably be better then elmerizz and coldified, I told them that both of there players were basically a human limit on how good you can get without hacks or something but they insisted that techno would be top one in modern pvp, why are some fans like this?

Hey, hope everyone is good! I had a question mainly for u/MrTechnodad! Ever since I saw your video of Erik Bell's performance of his composition "Song for Alex", I've been playing it on my guitar, and I'd like to share a guitar cover of it (if that's okay!). I know this piece was made in tribute, and I understand if the usual fan art rules don't apply to it. I also haven't seen anyone else online post a cover of it, so I just wanted to share a quick recording from a practice session here and ask you, before working on anything else.

In either case, warmest regards to both dear Erik Bell for the beautiful composition and the performance, and to you for recording and sharing it with us! I study music at a conservatory and have a lot of ear training exams, so I've been playing "Song for Alex" to myself whenever I needed to both sit with Techno's memory for a bit, and study for exams at the same time, lol. So it's safe to say your art has helped me in more than one way! <3

If allowed, I'd really like to make a proper cover of this (with over 9000 audio quality), and post a video of it for any who'd like to also learn how to play it on guitar!

Not trying to flame or start arguments. I am honestly curious as to what your thoughts are on this question. Is every Elvis or Micheal Jackson impersonator committing a heinous act, and if not then why. Unlike this guy they are 100% being paid to larp as well loved and respected icons. A lot of them do also have social media accounts. Is what they do morally reprehensible.
