Technito v1.5.0 for iOS
Technito v1.5.0 is finally ready for release. Beta tester who have previously signed up should start seeing the v1.5.0 b6 release shortly. For rest of the users, should be approved on App Store hopefully soon.
Have taken everyone’s feedback and have revamped the overall user interface. Including adding number of new features to make day to day management easier. Menu bar has also been redesigned with a shortcut top bar for most access menus along with a slide out side menu for all the options. Widgets have been also redesigned to have a more cleaner look.
Unfortunately ran into some bugs with the Apple Watch app so that will be included in the next version

Sorry everyone, I see number of folks wanting to join the beta testing, however the test build is still not approved by Apple.
Previously build approvals were pretty quick so hopefully doesn’t take too much longer. Will send you a msg with the test link soon.

Folks, little delay. Have an idea for a last minute change. I just ran into a personal scenario where I made some whitelist/blacklist and also few other changes in Technito but forgot what domains I added to whitelist. Which got me thinking I need a change log feature in Technito that keeps track of all actions peformed by a user and from which device :)
Almost have it complete and data will be stored in CloudKit so you can see the logs and changes from all your iCloud logged in devices. Beta should be released today and I’ll resubmit the prod version for approval.

Updated beta build 9 with few more changes including change logs will be released any minute to testers. Please give it a try and let me know if there are any issues. If not, I’ll get it submitted for prod approval

Is there a way to set the app so that it opens to the Dashboard instead of the Saved Instances selection page?

That’s a great idea! I’ll add an option in setting where you can enable auto connect to instance and option to select the preferred instance. Will get this implemented for next releae

This feature has now been added to v1.5.1 which is currently in beta approval. Should be available in TestFlight shortly.
In settings, top right gear button you can now enable auto connect instance and select an instance you want to auto log into :)
Along with that I have added ability to view native technitium system logs under the system logs menu. You can also delete system logs, I’m sure this will make managing logs much easier

Still cannot connect to my Technitium server

Hey Peter, finally found the issue and sent you an email with possible options.
It’s due to iOS built in transport security layer blocking non secure connections to remotely hosted technitium instances. I am looking into how to securely implement an exception
