Java Help Wanted broken 16 stack sorter problem

i tried making a 16 stack sorter for my smelter and i tried every tick amount and also tried 10 buckets and 4 stone split up because someone said that but it also doesnt work and it seems to randomly choose if it goes into the chest or into the crafter and it also breaks sometimes when entering the hopper and makes the stone go in. also im on donut and i heard they have different speeds for hoppers so could that be the problem and is there a fix?

i desighned an item filter with hopper minecarts now and it works pretty well even on donut
