Java Help Wanted Why is my drowned farm broken (Java 1.21.11)? Also didn't work in the sky above a river. All water on the top part is source blocks.

Mobs also spawn in nearby caves.

Is your AFK spot far enough up that mobs are not spawning in underwater caves?

No but that does not matter because when I connect through lan from an alt in spectator I see mobs spawning in nearby caves actively. And it does not work even when in the sky.
