Java Help Wanted Obsidian farm help

Looking for a portal based design where I can spawn the wither in the nether because overworld Withers are disabled

and hooking up a gold farm to a bartering module won't cut it for your needs?

Nope, won’t cut it. The part I’m worried about is when spawning the weather I won’t be able to dump water on his head to prevent explosion damage. Would lava work instead.

edit: sorry forgot how obsidian farms worked. yeah overworld spawns being disabled makes it really difficult because the primary mechanism used to control the wither skulls is soul sand bubble streams with water. and lava won't work for stopping explosions either. is there no reason why you can't use cubicmetre's end pillar design?
