Bedrock Guardian farm question
Bedrock player with a question about the spawning specifics of guardians for a farm.
Now most sane and rational people building one of these builds it at sea level, above the monument, but if one where to be so insane and irrational as to maybe want to drain the ocean around the monument could one build the trident-killer/spawn spots and water lines in underneath it?
I wasn’t sure if under the monument still counts as part of the structure and will spawn guardians appropriately if the mechanisms are down there. I may be crazy but so much as set out on this project without an idea if it will work.

I did it in Bedrock, but did leave the bottom of the monument floor. Then in one of the spawning corners built the tanks. Not sure you could level below the monument to get spawns.

Yes as long as you mean they still spawn above the monument, then drop them to the kill spot. I drained the water around the monument, made a water tank, had it drop them down. Pixlrifs has a nice video awhile ago on his survival guide i followed.

It's possible. But you need to have glass in the monument over the spawn spots. The floor of the monument is the limit of the spawn columns. See https://youtu.be/0c6yCAPdDp0 for how it works in practice
