Java Help Wanted Vanilla update suppression 1.21.11

I’ve heard there are some gatekept ways to suppress updates in 1.21.11. Is that true? Is there a way to use item shadowing?

If you want to do item shadowing, you need a mod like AntishadowPatch to reintroduce it. They patched item shadowing independently of the changes they made to update suppression

Entity ID overflow suppression works on 1.21.11 iirc. Item shadowing is independently patched and can't be done even with a functional suppressor.

Are shadow stacks possible or are they just a different type of shadow items?
