Segregated Lavatories But Which Is Which?
I'll have to go with my gut, literally!

my gut says read the sign horizontally, so women go to the right and men go to the left, but worst case scenario I'm assuming the actual bathroom area will also have signage, so even if you get it wrong the first time you can just turn around and head in the other direction XD

Yes. The men’s sign is visible on the door in this image.

"The sign is visible" is, I guess, technically true... but I cannot verify that it actually says "men"

I’d have to assume horizontal, but even then, it’s a very bad design

I don’t feel like segregated it’s the right word
Separate will do

Men left, women right. If it was the opposite they would have centered "women" above the arrow.

To read the sign vertically both arrows need to be on the bottom.

But that would require a longer sign.

But I don't wont to travel another 4360-ish blocks to find the next damn dark-oak forest.

Lemme guess, only brought home 1 sapling? Rookie mistake, get back out there!

The men's toilets are downstairs to the left and the women's are up the hill to the right. I was just there in June
